ActiveWatch released the FreeEx Report (2018-2019) - Press Freedom in Romania.

ActiveWatch has released „The Political Map of Local Televisions”, a qualitative research that looks into the current situation of local TV stations regarding their financial status, sources of funding (including public funding), the political and economic pressures they are subject to, ownership and its political and business connections, the professionalization and self-regulation levels. Furthermore, the research set out to identify the best solutions to improve the economic dynamics and to ensure the independence of local media.
 

During the Media & Learning Conference in Brussels ActiveWatch and its partners in the MEDEAnet project launched the second research report Charting Media and Learning in Europe-2012.

The Teacher's Guide supports the teaching of the "Competence into Mass Media" optional course at highschool level and it is available only in Romanian language.

The textbook is used in the optional course "Competences into Mass Media", which gives pupils the main concepts for addressing Mass Media messages on an informed basis. In addition to that, the textbook explains techniques of manipulation, persuasion and propaganda used mass communication, but, most of all, it presents a basic handbook for the purpose of better understanding their effects.

By reading this guide, one could discover the history and the mechanisms for the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy, the main legislative framework and the leading institutions necessary for the policy's operation, some essential elements for understanding the negociation process between Romania and the European Union on agriculture and a concise review of current financial instruments for the support of the Romanian agricultural sector. In addition to this, there is also a list of main sources of information concerning this domain and a glossary of technical terms.

The ascending evolution of corruption in Romania can be also linked to the weakened voices of anti-corruption. On the thin side of those who defend public integrity, the investigative journalist should be given credit for still holding on. His existence is the main subject of our activity.
